Salvation is a necessity because of man's sinful condition

Q.1
What is the condition of man? *

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(Romans 3:23)

Q.2
How did sin enter into the world? *

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(Romans 5:12)

Q.3
Is there any righteous man on earth? *

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
(Romans 3:10)

Q.4
Will our good works make us righteous before God? *

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
(Isaiah 48:22)

Salvation is a necessity because of the consequences of sin

Q.5
Is man condemned because of sin? *

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
(Romans 5:18)

Q.6
What is the penalty for sin? *

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

Q.7
What does "second death" in Revelation 21:8 refer to? *

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
(Revelation 21:8)

Q.8
What kind of life does a condemned sinner have? *

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
(Isaiah 48:22)
